The Committee is to develop terms of reference for cooperative arrangements on preventing and combating illegal traffic to bring together and improve cooperation and coordination between relevant entities with a specific mandate to deliver capacity-building activities on preventing and combating illegal traffic.
The development of terms of reference for cooperative arrangements were considered by the Committee during its
ninth meeting. The Committee agreed to make draft terms of reference publicly available and to invite Parties and others to comment thereon. As recommended by the Committee, the eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties adopted by its decision BC-11/8 terms of reference Terms of reference for cooperative arrangements on preventing and combating illegal traffic: the Environmental Network for Optimizing Regulatory Compliance on Illegal Traffic (
ENFORCE).
